Corina Koolen, a postdoctoral fellow in Digital Humanities at the Huygens Institute for the history of the Netherlands as of August 2017. I use computational methods to analyse recent Dutch prose fiction, in the project the Riddle of Literary Quality. My PhD thesis is called Reading beyond the female: The relationship between perception of author gender and literary quality (freely available in pdf format). In it, I show that gender (still) has much to do with judgments of literary quality – and how you can use computational analysis to look at work by female authors differently. For more information, you can find my contact details on the Huygens ING website.
And here is my CV.
